Hoosier Ladies Aside 10th Anniversary Celebration Charity Ride

The Hoosier Ladies Aside are proud to announce our "10th Anniversary Celebration" Charity Ride. The ride will benefit Morning Dove Therapeutic Riding Inc. Morning Dove enriches the lives of individuals in need, through a relationship with horses in a safe and natural setting. HLA chose a therapeutic riding center as our charity this year because they provide individuals with special needs an opportunity to experience that special relationship that comes from being with a horse. As we love our horses, we want to share that love with others. Morning Dove's strong commitment to providing high quality therapeutic services and their future plans to establish a program for disabled veterans attracted our attention and strengthened our desire to help.

Our ride will take place June 11, 2011 at Wild Air Farms in Zionsville, Indiana. Wild Air Farms is the home of the Traders Point Hunt Club. They have graciously opened up their facility to HLA to use for the charity event. This will give riders a rare chance to ride on these prestigious, private grounds.

The charity ride will begin with registration at 8:00 a.m. A "Chase" will begin at 9:00 a.m. with a "Pace" to begin at 10:00 a.m. Riders may ride individually or as a team with as many as 4 members. A trail ride will begin at noon. Riders of all disciplines and saddle types are welcome.

Riders will be required to wear a helmet. Due to the presence of the hunt club's hounds on the property, dogs are not allowed.

Lunch will be available.

Cost of the ride is $25 per rider. This allows the rider to ride in the Chase, the Pace and the trail ride or any combination of the three. The entry fee is tax-deductible as all proceeds will go to Morning Dove Therapeutic Riding, Inc. In addition, there is a corporate sponsor who will match all funds raised dollar for dollar making the $25 donation to Morning Dove worth $50.
