Her feet have been trimmed! Hind ones are giving her a bit of trouble,
but I bet it will take some getting used to having a proper trim.
Poor thing has lost the hair at the top of her tail too.

I spoke with the people in Frankfort. They had just returned from 6 days down south at the big barn.
Unfortunately they have lost a few animals. Some foals didn't make it and they lost a couple of adults to colic. It's very touchy to feed these starved animals in a way that won't compromise their depleted systems. You just can't dump the feed to them and think it will be ok. Fortunately, this group is experienced and we hope that the inevitable losses will be small.
News flash - The man responsible for these abuses has been judged.
He pled guilty to 50 counts of misdemeanors and received 1 year probation
with 4 months of home detention. He is to have no contact with animals during
this time.
There were a total of 130 horses involved and you have to wonder at the
justice system that he got off so lightly!!!???
